01.11.2007 - the beginning…

29.10.2007  2ND HAND SMOKE exhibition by Modart magazine, Cologne

In the graffiti world, fast and loose is nothing to joke about. For the beginning of the collaboration, the boys decided to take a little detour. SMASH137, STEFAN STRUMBEL & RUEDIONE headed over to Cologne and managed to bomb an entire trailer, abandoned on the grounds of what looked like an old circus camp cleared in a hurry, and set up a display of their work in just three days.Check out modarteurope.com for details of the event.

What the fuck! Is that a crack in the can?Of course, why would you want to use a spray nozzle when you can just bust the can open?

STEFAN STRUMBEL pimping his new ride. Looks like you’ve got a long way to go man!

SMASH137 working at his new net technique. This is something that deserves a moment of contemplation. This guy mounts framed netting over his surface, so he can walk away with a piece of the action. Someday you’ll be in a Gallery somewhere and see one of these. It will probably be titled something like ‘Just another Monday morning in Brooklyn Heights’.

Enough said. This is precisely why we love Ruedione.Wait, is that an image from the 2008 Montana Cans campaign? I’m thinking billboard.

01.11.2007 the opening……a sweet success

Thank god the collectors showed up first. Now we can get hammered.

The powerhouseWho ever thought it was possible to upstage the Velvet Underground? This image could make a critics head spin.

The conquererThe shit just doesn’t get much wilder than this. This piece from SMASH137 gives new meaning to working outside the boundaries of convention.

It ain’t over yet.Stand by for further corporate take overs. We still have the Montana Scholarship to complete.
